My Healers Academy Experience
Have you ever felt like you’re navigating life without a map?
Often times people feel like something is ‘missing’ despite a seemingly endless search for their own map! If this is you, you’re not alone: many people drawn to the Modern Mystery School have felt this way.
But you can find your map and you can live a life without pain.
Julia Papps, a recently initiated Life Activation Practitioner attended Healers Academy after many years of searching and external success, yet also several struggles in her personal life. After Healers Academy she found herself in the midst of a magickal healing transformation. In this inspiring podcast episode, Julia shares her journey after more than a decade of searching, struggle, and complex mental health issues that she attributes to a history of trauma paired with a spiritual awakening that she didn’t have the mental structure or psychological understanding to express at the time.
These thirteen long years of struggle and a lack of identification with new age spirituality led Julia to return to a life of ‘external success’, where she went back to school and became a biotech researcher. An intriguing intuitive hit led Julia to book a mammogram appointment, where she discovered that she had a cancer that had just metastasised. Yet despite her many life experiences including fighting a battle with cancer, it is the Life Activation that Julia believes saved her life and her personal experience which inspired her to become a Life Activation Practitioner herself.
Julia shares,
“I think Life Activation honestly saved my life, but it wasn’t just because of the cancer. It was because when I got diagnosed, my first response was “Thank God, because I don’t want to be here. And I don’t want to be judged if I [pass away] so this is a way that I won’t be judged [for it]. And the process of going through cancer treatments and working more and more with the [Modern] Mystery School has brought me to a place where I want to be here where I have found my people. I never thought I’d find my people. I just crave the community I experienced with Modern Mystery School.”
This personal account of the magick of the Life Activation is truly an inspirational one to us all. It brings me back to the ‘why’ of my own Healer’s Academy experience, and offers a glimmer of hope in what can sometimes feel like a dark world.
