Kabbalah: The Spiritual GPS
While speaking to Ambassador Eric , I started to realise, understand and see Kabbalah as a kind of spiritual ChatGPT. Now, for someone who uses ChatGPT an awful lot, I didn’t really want to compare such a sacred and ancient system of spiritual studies to a modern-day AI. But when I actually looked at it and really took a step back to observe what ChatGPT does for us, Kabbalah essentially does something similar.
When you’re studying Kabbalah – when you’re in the Tree – you’re asking the Tree questions. The better the questions, the better the answers. Simply put, when you put better prompts into ChatGPT, you receive better responses. The process of honing your questions to receive more fine-tuned answers is never-ending and keeps going deeper and deeper. This conversation opened my eyes more about how Kabbalah actually works within my life: how as a Kabbalist I can now use the tools I received in Kabbalah to bring more of something into my life, or to lessen something in my life. I think some may even call this balance…
While listening to Ambassador Eric Thompson in our conversation, I found a light within me that wanted to bring through the teachings of Kabbalah in a way that’s easily digested. Ambassador Eric is truly a master at bringing really deep spiritual concepts down to Earth, and grounding them into bite-sized nuggets that land within. What a blessing it was to have this conversation and to deepen my own understanding of the tools of Kabbalah too!

“Have you ever looked up at the stars and thought that there must be something more to life than this?” According to Ambassador Eric Thompson of the Modern Mystery School, that is the very first question the soul whispers when awakening. He said, “I don’t think anyone believes we came here just to pay bills or to stay in jobs and relationships that we don’t like.”
If you feel like there’s more to life, Kabbalah might be the key to discovering it.
I remember myself as a teenager, on my spiritual path of awakening, looking up at the stars and thinking, “Oh my word, how wrong I’ve got this all this time. There is more to life. There is something so much greater.”
Within the Modern Mystery School, Kabbalah is taught by Kabbalah teachers who have trained rigorously to be able to offer the highest level of Kabbalistic education. According to Ambassador Eric, “Kabbalah is a means to receive or to reveal. It’s not merely studied, but lived. It is sacred – a process of direct experience that helps one receive the answers they seek from within.”

Ambassador Eric explains that Kabbalah opens a spiritual doorway – a direct connection to divine wisdom that helps you understand yourself and your life more deeply. “You actually get to live Kabbalah. There’s an energetic process that happens almost like a Life Activation. When you go through the ascensions, you begin to experience these teachings in your everyday life without even opening a book.”
At the heart of Kabbalah lies the Tree of Life – a map composed of ten Sephiroth, or divine aspects of the self. Each one holds its unique energy and qualities. For example, Ambassador Eric shares: “Geburah represents discipline – the firm parent who sets boundaries – while Chesed is compassion, the merciful parent who comforts. Some people are great at being strong but struggle to be gentle, while others are endlessly forgiving but can’t say no.”
“In Kabbalah, we rise into the Middle Pillar. We learn to embody both and to choose what is needed in that moment. This balance is what makes Kabbalah so transformative.”
When you ascend up the Tree of Life, you start to experience the sides of yourself that you’ve never really accessed before. That’s what makes you whole, and that’s what makes you powerful.
I completely agree with Ambassador Eric. As one who has always journeyed through life quite intensely through the lens of Geburah, Kabbalah taught me to really look within, to deepen my journey with Chesed, and to be more kind and compassionate—not just towards myself but towards others.
Ambassador Eric likens Kabbalah to a spiritual GPS—a living map that guides you from the physical world towards your Higher Self. Along the way, you get to see the patterns you’ve been repeating, and with awareness, gain the energy to change them.
Ambassador Eric says, “It’s one thing to read about climbing a mountain, but until you’ve climbed it, you don’t know it. Kabbalah gives you that direct experience. It’s how you truly come to know thyself.”
I further questioned Ambassador Eric on what you can do with Kabbalah in daily rituals and what makes Kabbalah so magickal. We both agree that there are no limitations – whether it’s healing, manifesting wealth, creating an incredible life, learning more about how to love, bringing in more abundance, or completing a project with your Higher Self.
“This is what it means to live as your Higher Self. You’re not just learning about the light – you’re becoming the light.”
I couldn’t agree more. I think it’s taken me about a year to truly realize that Kabbalah is a path of enlightenment – as much as it is like having a new best friend. There is a love affair I have with Kabbalah that is inexplicable to those who haven’t studied it. It’s like having a new software update downloaded within you – with new ways to navigate, with new apps, timers, meditations, alarm clocks, wallpaper and a brand new camera and perspectives.
It truly allows you to be the newest version of yourself – the highest version of yourself – with an incredible map and incredible teachers.
We are so spoiled to be having Kabbalah again this year here in London. With three weeks to go, it’s a blessing to really feel the buildup of this energy and the offerings of Ambassador Eric.
