From Ireland to London for Healers Academy
Sean Boon re-visited Healers Academy again in October 2025, after almost 20 years since he first experienced the magick of the Life Activation. Julia Tiffin asked him some questions and he weighed in:
What was it like to experience Healers Academy now?
So initially, when I first did Healers Academy, I didn’t really know what to expect, or what was going on because I did it all in a very short period of time, but I remember the teachings were really, really profound. This time, with the hindsight of all the years of actually doing activations and doing the work, it was quite humbling to go back to the first steps that I took and to realize just how profound the teachings were, and how far I’d come in the last nearly 20 years since first doing it!
The energy now is so different. On the fourth day, once I’d assimilated the energy – the new Shamballah energy – there was a definite difference in the feeling of the energy. The energy is so light now, and it moves really, really quickly. I could feel when we first did it, that it took a while for the class to shift, whereas now people are just ready for it, and it is so easy for people to work with the energy!
How do you think Healers Academy is relevant now for people?
In terms of the relevance of the Healers Academy now: people are at a stage where they’re so disconnected. With social media, there’s so much information out there and it’s trying to actually find information that’s not wishy washy or contradicting. With regards to Healers Academy and the lineage that we’re in – these are the truths that people need, versus the chaff that they find online or on Google or on social media.
It’s very hard to sort through what’s real, what’s not, what’s truth, what works, what doesn’t.
I think that Healers Academy and the Mystery School path now is a lot more relevant than it was, precisely because there is a lot out there, and finding a true lineage with proper teachings is not something that’s very easy to do with the sheer amount of stuff that people are blasted with online. When you look up spirituality, there are so many retreats, so many different things going on now, so many people doing ayahuasca, cacao ceremonies and mushroom ceremonies. It’s very hard to know which of those are rooted in a true shamanic or spiritual practice.
So, Healers Academy and the path of the lineage, is really important, because it gives structure to everything, and actually gives you the deeper teachings and the meanings behind things.
What is your advice for someone doing Healers Academy now?
My advice for people doing Healers Academy is to do the work. And when I say ‘do the work’, I don’t just mean the work. You’ve stepped onto a path with a lineage, and the path is the hero’s journey – you’re basically becoming a hero in your own life. By becoming your own hero, you’re stepping into the power to be the hero for other people, because they see that in you. They see you carrying that light. They see you carrying that energy. And that’s the biggest thing I can say for you going into Healers Academy now, is that you need to do your rituals, do your practice, put everything that you’ve learned into practice, meditate on the teachings that you’ve received – each of the things that you’ve received are so profound. All the rituals are so profound. And if you meditate on them, and even if you break them into pieces and meditate on the individual pieces, the meaning becomes so deep. Connect more with your Guides and Guardians, work more with the Hierarchy of Light, since you have the tools to do that, and in trusting in the tools and trusting in the process, that is what helps you become your hero and the hero to the people around you.
What do you think people need for true healing now?
Going back to social media and Covid, there’s compromised interpersonal connections with everything that’s happened, and that social disconnect has left people feeling very wary about things and has led people to search for truth. In my experience, people now really need the building of relationships and interpersonal connections more so than anything; they’re yearning for these things. The path and Healers Academy, help people to re-connect, and to build relationships with people. It helps people to see that there is actually a support structure out there; that there are actually people who care; that there are people who want to help. Here are people who you can reach out to and with whom you can form community.
Post Covid, people are searching for that and trying to connect. In this day and age as a Healer, I think it’s really, really important to be able to provide re-connection for people back to themselves.
What else would you like people to know?
When I first stepped onto the path, there was a lot of work that we did, a lot of service that we did, and the joy lies in the service. The key is in just using the tools and offerings that you have, serving other people in any way, shape or form that you can, and doing that for someone’s highest good.
Work with the Hierarchy, and just be as good as you possibly can be, and use the tools that you have. In this day and age, you just need to connect with people. Just be that little light in their life that they need. It doesn’t matter how small or how big that impact may be – you will never know what impact you have. So just stick to your guns and do the things that you’re taught the way that you were taught, and stay the course.

From Australia to London to Ritual Master Novice
I remember my first Life Activation still so clearly … I had taken myself on a tour around the south of France to work on healing myself emotionally, spiritually and physically after an abusive and traumatic relationship. One day, another person on the tour made an announcement: ‘I’ve brought my tools with me, if anyone would like to book a session’. I felt an instant pull, ‘I don’t know what you’re talking about but yes! Come at me!’ (these were the exact words I used).
And so the next day I received my session. It was the most intense energy session I’d ever received in my life and at the end I looked up and said, ‘What was that and how do I learn how to do that?’.
Ipsissima Theresa Bullard-Whyke looked at me and replied (I only knew her as Theresa at the time) ‘That was a Life Activation, and you can come and see me in Toronto, or go to London, South Africa, Brazil, but we don’t teach in Australia at the moment, and we don’t have anyone who is trained in Australia at the moment.’
My heart dropped. Travel, for training …? All the reasons why I couldn’t travel popped into my mind. While I put it aside for the moment, the seed had been planted, the Life Activation did its work … and my life changed significantly.
Fast forward four years later, and I sent a brief note to Ipsissima Theresa’ on her instagram to thank her for the gift she had given me (realising by this stage that this fellow tour attendee was actually quite big in the world, and so, I did not expect a reply). As it turned out, Ipsissima replied, and connected me with an initiate who had just that week returned to Australia to live and to offer sessions and training.
Within two days I had my second Life Activation. Within 7 months I completed the first Empower Thyself on Australian Soil, under the guidance of Divina Rita. And just 3 months later I became an initiate in the South African Healers Academy.
Now, 2 years later I am standing in London initiated as a Ritual Master Novice. Tomorrow, as a Ritual Master I get the privilege of being present at the Healers Academy initiation to watch someone I gave a Life Activation to last year in Australia receive his own Healers Academy initiation.
This is the honour of serving the Light: to see not only how it has changed my life, but most importantly how it has changed the lives of others. This is the gift of the Life Activation! With this new commitment to the Ritual Master path, I have received new insights and wisdom that have allowed me to have an even deeper layer of reverence for the gift we have. I will forever be grateful.
And yes, there were plenty of obstacles to get here (outside of my own thoughts telling me all the reasons why not to do this): the distance, the additional flights, accommodation and time, the exchange rate, not knowing anyone, were all a part of my reality and yet … to have the privilege to progress on this path and serve the light in this way, is worth it.
In addition to the hard work and big days, this October program in London has been welcoming and heartwarming:
- There was a notable presence of leadership throughout the program, and they were so giving with their time and wisdom! It is such an inspiration.
- The team at the London MMS headquarters welcomed me with open arms – supporting, helping, and taking me under their wing.
- I reconnected with my adopted South African family who were also present.
- I caught up with the Aussies here for Professional Integration Day and Healers Academy.
- I connected with a new group of souls from across the world that I now get to call family, bound in service to the light.
I flew into London thinking that I’d walk into class not knowing anyone. How wrong I was! I now fly home to Australia both renewed, and with new family.
