But yes, we absolutely believe in Mermaids and the deep Magick they hold!
To prepare for our upcoming Mermaid Magick class happening here very soon, on the 21st of June, we wanted to give you a sneak peak by featuring the amazing interview with Martina Coogan who will be the teacher for this class, interviewed by our lovely Ipsissima Kate. Now Martina, are mermaids real and do they have Magick?
Yes, yes, and yes. Mermaids are very very very real and they’re extremely powerful.You know, it’s a great time of the year actually, I think, to talk about this because it’s the time when the sun is out, we go to the coastlines, we go to the ocean, and we are connecting with these magical bodies of water which have mermaids! They are very real! They are very much wishing to connect with us and to work with us. So I’m very excited to be a part of the class that will be happening here in the Mystery School Tradition.
You’ll be able to connect with mermaids and have that Magick in your life, have that relationship with them for you and for others as well.
Who can come to Mermaid Magick? Are there any prerequisites?
It’s for anybody really who is an Initiate which means you have attended Empower Thyself – you’ve done the two-day class, you are an Initiate. So you have that understanding of consciousness, of rituals, and of meditation because that is the essence of what we will be doing in Mermaid Magick.
You know, mermaids live in the water which is connected to that frequency of the subconscious and the consciousness of humanity and we’ll be working with that.
I know you ask “are mermaids real?”, but lots of people actually have had encounters, conversations, or have heard about them through generations. Especially people who live on the coastline, it’ll be very real for them. So, if you’re one of those people and you want to know more, then this class is definitely for you. And if you’re an Initiate, you want Magick in your life and you want to live with a lot of Magick and Joy, then this class is for you.
What’s interesting is that in all of the cultures around the world, we talk about beings, but in particular, the mermaids, the dragons, the unicorns and such like. So it is very much part of our ancestry and our culture which I think is also important.
Absolutely. We have so much healing water on Earth. We even have…conversations when we talk with people who work at the sea or live by the sea, the fishermen and women and their encounters, [and] also people who live on the coastlines [in summer]. They will have lots of stories through generations about these magical beings.
