Why Can’t You Have it All? My Experience at Warriors of Light
I could not believe I had made it to Warriors of Light as I was entering the training hall on the first morning. Everyone was wearing their gis, walking around with big smiley faces while some Third Step Ritual Masters wore their smashing red gis! Oh, and the teaching panel made sure to take their outfits to another level, too.
As many of us faced snowstorms on our way to Toronto this month, alongside other obstacles, I must say that I have never experienced such a challenging journey to get to programs. I thought, “Why am I facing so much resistance? If I’m being challenged this much, there must be a lot waiting on the other side.” I was determined to make it happen and when I finally arrived at the airport in the middle of the night, I was exhausted but so grateful to have made it!
On this first morning, I had no idea how much was waiting for me in this program, but I was going to find out very soon.
Originally I was one of the first to sign up for Warriors of Light, but then decided to sacrifice it to attend the Hermetic Parenting Class. I could feel how much healing I would receive from the new hermetic class with Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon and it was something I was more resistant towards. I decided to lean into that resistance as my understanding was that this would bring me more growth. I chose the hermetic class, even though it meant sacrificing one of my favourite types of programs, Warriors of Light (WOL), instead.
I really thought I was meant not to attend WOL! Silly me. I let fear enter my mind that told me I couldn’t have it all. Why wouldn’t I be able to attend both classes? As I later tapped into my inner Goddess’s wisdom, that inner part of me did not understand this concept of ‘one OR the other’ and inspired me to be more resourceful. Everything within me was screaming at me to go to Warriors as the training approached. So I pulled the strings I could, was supported by my magick and the support of the lineage behind me, and I made it happen.
All along, deep down I wanted nothing more than to attend this four-day training, but my mind kept trying to trick me away from it. Talk about intuition versus fear, right?
I am so grateful that I followed the call of my intuition, and I can confidently say now that the training has ended that it was beyond worth it!!!
As Warriors of Light, we get challenged, we get stretched, and we expand as every single challenge that we overcome makes us stronger!
We get trained to hold more Light and fight for the good in the world. We fight for more peace, more joy, and most especially, for a better world!
The Warriors of Light Specialty Training was packed with so much insight that it felt like I took more notes on that first day of training than in all three previous days in class altogether! If I was passionate about Warriors of Light before, I am now beyond grateful and passionate about it.
The teaching panel did a masterful job of handing down key spiritual teachings and, of course, the physical training alongside all the other capacities we get trained in. These specialty teachings get handed down only in February and I highly recommend any Ritual Master to pull all strings possible to make this gift possible for themselves. Know that how you do one thing is how you do everything and the training you receive to strengthen your warrior spirit will ripple out into all areas of your life.
Many of us white belts got the opportunity to test for our yellow belts and successfully passed our belt test! We trained hard, we pushed boundaries, we did many pushups, we expanded, and of course, we shared lots of laughter.
If you do not fight for the good in your life, how much negativity are you tolerating?

Our Team on Warriors of Light
1. What called you to WOL for the special program in February?
I have participated in several WOLs and for me it is the program where I get the most learning and change. This is because we are challenged both physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. When I talk about the program to others I describe it as the leadership program of the future. The reason is that you are challenged to take real leadership in your and others’ lives. You are physically challenged, which creates more room to tolerate more change on other levels. You are challenged to think for yourself and live your life based on reality. When you know what is real, not what your thoughts or feelings are. Then you can really take ownership of your life and your development.
2. What did you learn about yourself?
I learned that I contain everything. To live the life I want, the most important thing is to take action. Don’t let yourself get stuck in my thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
3. What is your biggest takeaway from this program?
1. If everyone in the world were like me, would the world be a better place?
What I say, how I live, what I do, how I treat others. How I am as a parent, as a leader. Do I allow them to make mistakes, grow, adjust, and let them grow further?
It is a clue to whether you are living life in line with how you want people to be.
Most people talk about what it takes to have a better society, leadership groups, ownership groups, etc. But few are living examples. We follow people who live and are role models, those who take action. Not those who just talk.
2. Your boundaries show your Power. What we tolerate and do not tolerate.
Being clear and concise creates security and authenticity.
3. Teach our children to be normal first, before we teach them that they are special.
4. The reason most people don’t want to change, or make new choices that are for the better is because they don’t believe in themselves. They feel that deep down we don’t deserve this. Don’t feel worthy of being successful.
5. What we all want to hear from our parents, leaders is that when things are hard, they will say “Everything will be okay”. But we have to do a job first, it may be tough, there may be long days and nights and maybe tears. But it will be okay in the end.

1. What called you to WOL for the special program in February?
WOL in general is fun and we received advanced training during February Special program.
2. What did you learn about yourself?
There are so many things, areas of my life that I took ownership of, how to activate my etheric field, and learn more about advanced warrior training.
3. What is your biggest takeaway from this program?
Continue to practice and serve through direct experience gains you deeper understanding and wisdom.

1. What called you to WOL for the special program in February?
Something deep inside me knew that I was in the right place at the right time and that I would receive exactly what I needed to continue on this path, discovering myself even more as a Warrior of Light. And that is exactly what happened.
2. What did you learn about yourself?
I am still in the process of assimilating and integrating everything that unfolded within me during this program. But I feel like a completely different person, with an even greater sense of clarity about who I am and what I am here to do.
3. What is your biggest takeaway from this program?
I believe the most important “tool” in my Warrior of Light journey is discernment, which is deeply connected to clarity. I love having clarity—it allows me to see what needs to be adjusted or completely transformed within myself. Through this program, I was able to perceive, on a much more subtle level, where I still have room for improvement. I am in a continuous process of growth, and that excites me because it means I can become even better in everything that defines me as an eternal Being.

Congratulations are in Order!
Several members of our Modern Mystery School UK EU Ritual Master Team took another huge step in their own personal paths of progression. They completed Ritual Master 2.5, and they are now known as a Ritual Master Apprentice of Practical Magick. Here a Ritual Master truly starts their training in Higher Magick starting with Sigils, Seals and Magickal spells. The Apprentice begins moving deeper into the knowledge of their preparation for the 3.0 Ritual Master, which is the last initiation received.

Lace Up Your Trainers and Welcome Spring
It’s that time of year! The little purple crocus buds are peeking out of the soil in the parks in London.
The daffodils are coming out of hibernation.
You yourself may be coming out of hibernation, too.
With the longer days, it’s time to lace up your trainers and spread Light through the city of London with our 3rd Annual Charity Run!
Every year in April, we gather as a Modern Mystery School Community in seven different cities worldwide.
London. Tokyo. Johannesburg. San Francisco. Florianópolis. Derry. Toronto.
Bound by our dedication and commitment to spreading Light on our dear planet, we run, jog, trot (or, for the kiddos who join, cycle) 8 kilometres.
Your only requirement? Do your best.
It’s a great way to challenge your own Warrior Spirit inside, while raising funds for a great cause, too.
Now, our favourite sporting event of the year is quickly approaching, and we need your help!
Our goal is to raise a minimum of £3000 for Random Acts of Kindness, our charity partner, this year. This UK-based charity supports vulnerable groups like homeless and low-income families as well as individuals in crisis by providing food, clothing, hygiene products, care packages, and treats to brighten peoples’ days and lives.
