This was not a topic that I had given much thought to before I attended the Hermetic Communication between the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine class. While I had heard the terms “Divine Masculine” and “Divine Feminine” being bandied about, I didn’t really understand the power that each energy in its pure and unpolluted form held and how important these energies are for life to truly flourish and thrive.
I work in a male dominated environment and while I never consciously realised it, I was conditioned to believe that in order to be perceived as consistent, dependable and reliable at my job, I had to tone down all my feminine traits. I never allowed myself to truly express my feminine energy. In fact, I never truly got to know it or nurtured it. Sure, I wore dresses and skirts as part of my wardrobe and was always reasonably well turned out, but I never leaned into my femininity as a power, dismissing it as bulliable and unauthoritative. I did not even get to know what feminine power truly meant, sub consciously buying into the commercial and ultimately false “girl boss” stereotype which misguidedly celebrated the diminishing of masculinity and the dominance of men. I see now that while this sort of misunderstanding of the male and female energies can lead to seeming short term gains, it ultimately leads to distortion that serves neither energy.
While, I will always be learning, I now understand that male and female energies complement each other and when worked together in purity, is a powerful force for all creation in the light. The divine feminine energy is not one that is weak, long suffering or second place. That is a distorted shadow. In its full power, the divine feminine is protective, boundaried, fierce, wise but also loving. Compassion does not equate forgiveness without discernment and love does not equate martyrdom. Love has boundaries and sacrifice does not equate pointless suffering at the expense of the self.
I avoided femininity because I was afraid that I would have to keep on sacrificing who I was and what I wanted (even though I did it anyway) but in truth, wielding my femininity in purity was to nurture myself and that sacrifice meant sacrificing the lower for the higher good instead of giving up everything I want and repressing my needs and desires. Wielding my power as a female meant knowing myself, and nurturing myself so that I can be the container for creation without depleting myself. Not by repressing my desires but by being part of the force of creation to bring into fruition that desire. Holding the masculine to a higher standard – not out of domination, dismissal or fear and not in a manner that is dismissive or hate filled but motivated by love and supported by healthy boundaries. The feminine in its full power knows when to hold firm and say no while also when to protect and exercise compassion.
I experimented with the teachings and started to nurture, understand and express my own femininity. Not by following fashion trends but by truly leaning into what felt good to me. This journey allowed me to explore more deeply into some of the misconceptions that I didn’t even know I had and as I healed, many things started to come to me that I never thought possible. I was able to powerfully embody my healing gifts without feeling taken for granted. I was able to begin to allow myself to be seen, firstly by myself, but by the masculine, as a strong but beautiful woman. I began to witness the dance between the masculine and feminine and saw the fun side to it, as well as the power behind a healthy collaboration between the two energies.
Both energies are not equal -they are not the same. But, they are equally required in this world. In full flow, the dance between the two is powerful in its polarity and divine creation itself when in balance.
In its purity, it was never about dominance or bullying, but rather a beautiful weaving together of two powerful energies in respect and love – that it was not just about romantic love, but about collaboration in its highest form.
Both energies are so misunderstood at the moment and for the world to thrive, they have to be in balance. If you truly want to contribute to the world being a better place, this class is pretty much part of your foundation – a platform to build, create and expand.
My journey continues and it is a beautiful unfolding and awareness of the self which leads to a purer expression of my goddesshood.

The Shamanic Magick of Abundance & Healing 14 March 2026

Universal Prayer Gathering 14 March 2026
EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
Do you pray? Do you talk to God, Source, the Universe — or simply to something greater than you?
In moments of challenge, uncertainty, or change, prayer can be a powerful way to bring light and love to a situation. It helps us soften the mind’s grip, open the heart, and receive guidance from above — beyond what we can see in our linear mind perspective.
This is a free, in-person Monthly Prayer Night offered as a universal service. You are welcome exactly as you are, regardless of your faith, spiritual background, or personal beliefs.
What to expect
During this evening, one of the Guides in the Modern Mystery School tradition will lead us through prayer in a grounded, uplifting way.
You can expect:
- A warm, inclusive space held with care and respect
- Guided prayer to bring light, love, and support to your current challenges
- A chance to reconnect with your own inner faith – whatever that means to you
- The power of praying together as a community
Why pray together?
Many of us prayed naturally as children — with trust, imagination, and gratitude. As adults, we can return to that same connection, with even deeper awareness.
When we pray together, something shifts. We lift what feels heavy into a higher realm, the quantum field, God, the Universe, and invite infinite possibilities to meet what once felt stuck or limited.

You’re invited to bring a personal prayer for yourself, a loved one, a situation, or simply for more peace, clarity, and support.
This is not about “doing it right.” It’s about showing up, opening your heart, and allowing the light to move.
