There is also something very special on the horizon – a release of a documentary series by the Modern Mystery School. Today you are invited to be a part of the premiere, and you will find all the details below and links to the first two episodes!

We’ve Just Experienced The Cusp Of Fire!
Last week we met for the yearly devotion in the Wiccan tradition to usher in the turning point. The turning point or turning back point plays a big role in life. It describes the realisation that living in a linear way or following a linear course is not the way of life, or the way to live life. We will only be disappointed if we follow one track, one direction, and think we will find happiness in the end. No – there we only find a turning point.
For example, have you ever looked at the success stories of many world-famous athletes or professionals who realised at some point that success does not make them happy? Often when they were at the pinnacle of what they could achieve, that’s when they were most unhappy – because at that moment they realised they couldn’t go any further or any higher. Game over. From this point onwards there is only one direction to go – to follow the turning point, the path of return, the path within, the path ‘down’. This is an eternal cycle, the rhythmn of life and completion.
If we understand success the way the mundane world teaches us (vs. the spiritual), it can never make us happy, because the expectations associated with it will never come true. But at the moment, when we realise that our recipe for success was not the right one, we may be able to accept the fact that from now on, the path must be the goal. If we look at the literal meaning of the word ‘success’ (from the Latin ‘succedere’), it means ‘to follow one another’. Success, of course, is what follows when you follow your purpose, which will always lead you to serve others where they can then follow the path you’ve forged, leading them to their purpose.
Reinhold Messner describes his first ascent of Mount Everest as follows: ‘Nothing, nothing at all that I had hoped for took place up there. I only felt complete inner emptiness and had only one wish: to go down. I felt joy in the valley when I heard children laughing and saw flowers. Up there was only a turning point for me.’
The turning point stands for the natural course of each individual life, because even if there are highlights at intervals, there must be a re-orientation afterwards. The path is the goal – and only in this way can we live a prosperous life experiencing success and real joy. In the docu-series we present to you below, you will experience these discoveries in these real life stories, experienced first-hand by initiates of our lineage.

It is so brave to expose yourself in front of the camera. The stories of the protagonists are all heartbreaking and yet so healing for each individual. They all show their weak spots, their vulnerabilities. It is brave to express. But even more courageous is the story behind it. Every single one of them was brave enough to realise in their lives that they need – and above all want – help. They were brave enough to go in search of it. They spent all of their strength to go on the search. They were brave enough to change their lives.
This series is something created for you. Something for you to relate to. Something for you to share with family and friends. Something to help you put into words the energies you may not have been able to express. Or perhaps it will create more clarity within your life and those around you!
This is the project spearheaded & created by Guide Ruthie Odom and her team, that Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave believed in so much that he pushed for it to be created for the Modern Mystery School. We are excited to share this link to a docu-series just released – created to share authentic stories of real people that have experienced and embodied the Magick of the Modern Mystery School and our lineage!
