| One of the most powerful shifts in my life recently came from “The Main Thing” class, taught by Lineage Holder Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon. For anyone currently holding onto resistance regarding their next steps, I truly see you. I was carrying a significant amount of resistance before this class. When I asked my Guide which classes he would recommend for my progression during this program, he immediately suggested “The Main Thing.” I noticed my mind trying to search for alternatives, but I paused and remembered two important truths: first, my Guide’s advice in the past has always proven to be exactly what I needed; and second, the very things I resist often hold the greatest potential for my personal growth. As always, his guidance was completely correct, and I am deeply grateful I listened.
Sitting in a class taught by Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon is consistently the most healing, cleansing, and uplifting experience of my life. I can genuinely say he is the best mentor I have ever encountered and, in my view, the foremost spiritual teacher for the Western world. His teachings are profoundly mind-expanding, offering a deep understanding of the highest spiritual concepts. He speaks directly and unapologetically – never mincing words when the truth needs to be spoken – and has no problem ruffling feathers when it is appropriate for our growth. Yet, he is incredibly eloquent and versatile in his delivery. My analytical German mind is always deeply satisfied when engaging with his teachings.
For me, the most healing part of this recent class was learning to identify how the mind masquerades as the heart. Throughout the class, I watched Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon completely dissolve this illusion, breaking open the constraints of my own mind so that my heart could shine through. I feel, in a way, that the voice of my heart has become louder than my mind after this class.
The impact of these teachings – and the healings they bring – reflected directly in my life just days after leaving the class:
Yesterday, I met up with some former coworkers here in Dublin. Instantly, I was able to acknowledge everyone’s beauty, strength, and brilliance purely from my heart, without any subconscious desire for attention or validation in return. My relationships with them transformed quite literally overnight, and our bonds have strengthened immensely. Beyond that, seeing all of my relationships evolve right in front of me into pure BEAUTY, in just a matter of a bit more than a week after the class, speaks volumes to the high magick of these teachings.
It is so easy to let our minds get in the way – in work, in relationships, in all manifestations – but this experience taught me how to shift and let my heart once again become the CEO, leading me internally with the question: “How can I selflessly serve the people around me? My family, coworkers, friends, and clients?”
Letting go of the mind’s control and staying anchored in the heart is the most purifying experience, bringing pure joy and beauty into my everyday life. And this first week after class is only the beginning.
Lastly, his teaching on priorities was nothing short of transformative. It sounds obvious that the main thing is to make “The Main Thing” the main thing, and to keep it the main thing in one’s life. However, even though I can confidently say I feel my “Main Thing” in my heart, I still found my mind distracting me and allowing other priorities to slip in – for years! The teachings from Sovereign cleansed that distraction from within me during class. My light is once again shining fully on my true purpose, and I am keeping it firmly at the top of my life.
This has brought a profound realization regarding my broader work. Over the past five years of studying with the Modern Mystery School, I have been invited annually to a major charity event hosted by the world’s largest non-governmental childcare organization for children without parental care. For the past five years, I have been annually invited as an energy healer and meditation teacher to help children, teenagers, and young adults find and execute their own “Main Thing.” At these events, I find myself sharing the stage with an incredibly diverse group of professionals: police officers, physiotherapists from first-division football clubs, executives from Europe’s largest and most prestigious university hospitals, alongside board members and leaders from the pharmaceutical industry, as well as hardworking tradespeople like painters and letter carriers. Standing next to all these traditional, practical, and corporate professionals, I wondered for five years why I was specifically called to be there in my capacity as an energy healer and meditation teacher. I always felt in my heart it was right to teach these young people meditation as a valuable tool to connect to their inner voice. But now, through these teachings, I finally understand the profound importance of operating from the heart and achieving a state of “No Mind,” and that this is truly a key to finding and keeping one’s Main Thing in life.
This is a massive teaching for me. I will now step into my next charity event next month with absolute confidence, continuing to share these meditations and this Path, so that many more individuals can experience these teachings and the 3,000-year-old Lineage, allowing them to more accurately find and execute their true purpose in life.
