Unity Across the World: 4th Annual UK & EU Team Light 8km Run 🏃

​For our annual 8k Charity Run here in Ireland, we came together from areas like Belfast, Donegal, Dublin, Dundalk, Sion Mills, Derry, and even Slovenia with one unified mission: to help others who have less than us.
​In Ireland, they say they have 40 different words for the types of rain, but this was no excuse for us. We were wet, we were cold, but we did it anyway.

​None of us are professional runners, but we trained and overcame our own challenges to be there for others. There is something special about doing things for others. It frees forces within us to go beyond the limits of what we think is possible. It felt like something was lifting us, and the run was over so quickly. It was an elevating and purifying experience.

​Here in Ireland, we increased our number of runners from 10 last year to 15 this year. We also had supporters along the way who waited at the finish line and donated.

Running in the light with the light as the wind in your sails is an entirely different experience! It validates the power of the tools in the Mystery School, which elevates our minds and consciousness up to the light of God so we can bring light to this density of materia. With increased light, more goodness is able to be materialised in our lived experience on this planet. And with more sustained, consistent connection to the light, well, nothing short of miracles are possible in anyone’s life.

It was a huge achievement for me to transcend what I thought my body could do, and a beautiful 51st birthday present to myself! It is such a great reminder, again, that I can always go past what ‘I think’. The mind of God offers unlimited possibilities, and there is just so much more that we are capable of!

And with 50% more donations raised this year from my own community, I am grateful my running efforts could match their open hearts.

To be honest, at first I didn’t want to go. My mind kept telling me it was unnecessary–“You have to fly to London for such a short time, it’s stressful, why does it even matter?” And then I caught myself and realized how sad it was that I was thinking that way.

So I shifted my perspective. For the first time in my life, I was doing something that wasn’t for me. For the first time, I was participating in a run for charity, collecting and donating money for people I don’t know, for people in need.

In a world so full of “me, me, me first,” it’s a powerful sign of unity to come together and stand for something greater – for the world, as one. And on top of that, it was such a joy to see my spiritual family again. I’m not alone. I will never be alone. I have people around me who share the same mission, and I am forever grateful for this family.
Let’s keep going. 🙏🏻🙂

It felt particularly powerful that this took place just before Easter. There was a beautiful sense of reflection in the air -thinking about sacrifice, about Jesus, and how each of us chose to give up our time, whether with family or other commitments, to contribute to something greater.

I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to take part in this run each year. It’s inspiring to see how we continue to grow, raising more funds and reaching more people in need every time.

This year, I changed my approach. I focused on self-care, hit the gym regularly, and ate healthier. I showed up simply to do my best, and I actually surprised myself by running twice (even if only for a few minutes, LOL!). My goal was 1 hour and 30 minutes. Even when doubt crept in and my legs felt heavy near the end, I kept pushing. I was so excited to cross the finish line in just 1 hour and 20!
