Following the Call of My Soul
When I was a child, I always had the sense that I was different. I was always fascinated by new things. I remember once, when I was 7 years old, I went to a bank with my mum, and I was fascinated with the structure of the ceiling for some reason. I told her, and she said, “Stop being a hillbilly and getting absorbed by everything you see.” But for me, I was trying to understand the world and all its peculiarities.
Even something simple, like eating an orange, felt magical. I loved the smell of it and the texture, and it made me feel wonder.
Life took me to different places, and I experienced the world always connected to the spiritual realm. When I was in trouble, I used to say, “God, it’s only you and me, and we need to find the solution to this.” I also asked Angels to protect my way, because deep down I knew there was something more than eating, working, having fun, and sleeping.
So I started searching more deeply. I was looking for something that really touched me… something that made more sense than worshipping or feeling guilty for everything I did. I wanted to experience my humanity without regrets.
Once, I was in a basketball playgroup watching some guys playing, and I was reading a book about quantum spirituality. One of the guys came to me and asked why I was interested in this particular subject. I replied that I felt there was something more than what religions told us. He invited me to meet his teacher, who was teaching a small group about the internal divine spark that we have within ourselves, rather than blind faith.
We were only five, and I was the only woman. I was fascinated with these lectures; they opened a new perspective on spirituality in me. I learned how not to let emotions rule my inner world, about astral travel, and the invisible world. I was with them for a short period of time because I was preparing myself to come to London for the first time. I had just finished high school.
Coming to London at a young age helped to build my personality. I had my first job, my first love, and I had to look after myself because there was no mummy to look after me. It was not easy, but I learned from my struggles.
I met this nice lady who helped me in some job situations. She was in a Jehovah’s Witness congregation and asked me to go with her to several meetings. It was nice at the beginning, but something was telling me this was not what I was looking for. When they were pressuring me to get baptised, I left because I didn’t feel the connection.
I left London after 6 years and went back to Colombia, and I decided to study journalism to help the less fortunate so that they would have a voice. When I finished my career, I always had in my mind the desire to come back to Europe. So I did, and I went to Spain.
My spirit was still looking for something, and I couldn’t find it yet. Yet after living in Spain for more than 5 years and getting Spanish nationality, my aim was always to come back to London. Someone from work told me, “What are you going to do in London if you have a good job here? You are not 18 anymore.” And I said, “Something in my heart tells me that I will find my spiritual path there. I just feel it.”
So it was. When I came to this beautiful country, my heart started beating with joy. But as time went by, I didn’t find the answers I was looking for. I got stuck and didn’t know what to do or where to go. I was confused, and I was at the point where I thought I may have to go back to Colombia and start looking for my spiritual path all over again… time was ticking.
I started watching Gaia TV, looking for answers, and then a mystery teaching series popped up. I got enchanted by the content, so I started looking for any interview that could tell me more about this lady, Ipsissima Dr. Theresa Bullard. There was one on Open Mindswhere she talked about Life Activation and the Modern Mystery School.
So I immediately sent an email to know more about it. Someone asked me if she could call me, and I accepted. There I was, on a call, talking about Empower Thyself and Life Activation, and deep in my heart, I just felt it… this is what my soul was looking for.
And here I am, three years later, enjoying the path.

This is a free, in-person Monthly Prayer Night offered as a universal service. You are welcome exactly as you are, regardless of your faith, spiritual background, or personal beliefs.

During this evening, Guides in the Modern Mystery School tradition will lead us through prayer in a grounded, uplifting way.

A warm, inclusive space held with care and respect
Guided prayer to bring light, love, and support to what you’re moving through
A chance to reconnect with your own inner faith, whatever that means for you

Why pray together?
Many of us prayed naturally as children-with trust, imagination, and gratitude. As adults, we can return to that same connection, with even deeper awareness.
When we pray together, something shifts. We lift what feels heavy into a higher realm, the quantum field, God, the Universe, and invite infinite possibilities to meet what once felt stuck or limited.

This is not about “doing it right.” It’s about showing up, opening your heart, and allowing the light to move.
