| Mom, why is everyone congratulating you for being a Senior Guide? Aren’t you too young to be called senior? And what exactly does it mean to be a Guide? Aren’t you already tired of telling my sisters and I what to do?!
You are funny! Being a senior in a field it is just a matter of more experience, not about age – there are Senior Guides in their 30s. And being a Guide is not equal to being someone’s mom. My Guide is not my mother but the person who knows me well enough and has the keys to Guide me towards my next step on my path. This means I can be an even greater mom and a greater human being that is closer to my best potential.
Give me an example please so I can understand: how should I choose my future Guide for example? The person that loves me the most in the school?
Well, I am sure everyone loves you in the school, but if you define love by who is spoiling you most, this is not a way to choose your Guide. For example, when your dad is reminding you that going to Karate sessions is not a choice based on how tired you are today, does it mean he doesn’t love you? He is just keeping you on track so the choices you make are for your own best! Correct?
Yeaaah, even if sometimes I don’t feel like it. But then I am grateful to him!
Correct! And you are grateful to yourself that you made the effort! You are not doing anything for your Guide but … for yourself! But sometimes we get lost, lazy, maybe we are not clear anymore about our ‘why’. It is our Guide that is always there to remind us!
A Guide has walked in the same shoes that you have walked in and used the very instruments they now recommend for you to use – either classes that contain keys of clarity to move you forwards, or healing sessions to clear the ‘noise’ from your mind or soul.
Cool!! So it is like my own private, wise, big sister who is always there with good advice but then allows me to decide – not like you guys that are always forcing me to go to school?!
Haha! You could say that. The difference is, we are legally responsible for you! The Guide is there to remind you that you are responsible for your own growth. But it is important to trust your Guide and to know that in that role, they not the normal human being that is guiding you, but their higher aspects that are always in connection to your Spiritual Guides.
Aaaa, so it is a human translator to my Guardian Angels?
You could say that – especially the angels that help you to grow and are there for that reason only. The Guide is there for your next step. It’s a bit like in school where your teacher is there to support your specific progression compared to where you were before, not in comparison to other kids, correct?
Yes, our Teacher is smart! She tricks me into liking school!
Because progressing is about joy in life, kid! God is a joyful creature! Our nature is joy! We just need to be reminded and to open doors to all of the potential we have!
And it’s limitless! It really is! As you progress, you like to share your experiences with your family, correct? Good or bad experiences? And then you can know how to redirect a mistake and how to manage a success!
I am more afraid of success!
We all are! Because that means we have more work to do! But like with computer games, don’t you want to get to the next level?!
Of course I do! What is the point to play the same level over and over?
Well, there you go! But if you don’t know how to do that, and if you don’t have a tutorial you trust, you cannot go to the next level.
You know, my wish for all my initiates is the same that I have for you – to fall in love so deeply with your own destiny that you enjoy every second of your challenges and successes!
