| Did something shift within you during Teachers?
Very much so. It wasn’t just one thing. It was a lot of layers that I let go of, rising above my own hangups and the core of the personality that holds you back.
Stepping in on day three, there was a massive monumental change in how I felt walking through the world and how I felt a connection to the people around me, inside the school and out in the world.
That really hasn’t faded. That stayed with me. A maturity. A becoming aware of this Light that we hold as Teachers and how our words, our grace, and our beauty impact everyone around us.
We’re Teachers all the time. We aren’t just Teachers when we’re teaching.
To set the example, to be the Light, to guide people to the path, to awaken souls is a huge responsibility, and I really feel what it means to embody all of that.
What’s the one thing that you will change after Teachers?
I immediately became aware of organisation and the flow of things around me.
Coming home ready to reorganise and restructure not just my schedule, but my daily life and the things around me.
Getting rid of things that no longer serve, internally and externally. Decluttering all of those things so that the energy can truly flow and I can hold that energy within my workspace for those students coming in.
Really working on how I present myself to the world and how I feel around other people. Having that confidence and holding that light impacts everything.
Staying in alignment is definitely a focus that has to move forwards with me as I step into becoming a Teacher.
Why did you feel called towards the class?
I’ve been wanting to do this class for over two years. I wasn’t ready. My foundation wasn’t ready to do it prior to this.
I knew there was a reason why I wanted to hang on, and hanging on meant that we stepped in with these powerful new teachings.
I am truly honoured and grateful to be one of the first teachers carrying those forwards.
It feels like a natural progression. To truly understand the teachings on the path so far is to step into teaching others and stepping into that responsibility.
It is huge, but it feels like a natural progression for me. I’ve always wanted to teach, and I teach in my day job, teaching complementary therapies.
I’ve seen how people listen to the words that I say and truly take those teachings on.
Already having seen a glimmer of what being a Teacher is all about, now being a Teacher in the lineage is a phenomenal honour and an experience that I can’t wait to have over and over again.
To plant those seeds, to awaken those souls, to encourage people to choose themselves, to be better, and ultimately to choose Shamballah, to choose the light, and to see themselves as God.
What would you like to tell someone who is thinking about Teachers Academy?
Do it. Absolutely do it.
But be prepared that this is fast alchemy. This is experiential. It’s powerful. It’s unlike any other class I’ve ever done.
You will be uncomfortable. You will experience so much more on every single level than just sitting in a class.
This is a massive responsibility. It’s not just a class you take because you want to get somewhere else on the path.
You become a Teacher because you want to awaken those souls. You want to be a Light bearer and hold the door open for people to find a path.
I’m still integrating a lot of the teachings that we received and the shift.
Currently, yes, do it, but come from your heart. Be prepared to shed so much that you’re carrying in order to truly be able to carry that light moving forwards.
What was something unexpected?
- The power within that class. The immediate shift from walking in on the morning of day one and walking out at the end of day one.
- The shifts had already started to happen. The change in perception of the world. The change in what the path actually means.
- A massively huge depth of gratitude for all of those teachers that I have had in every single class that I’ve done up until this point.
- What it really takes to hold that energy – I don’t think I truly considered the enormity of the experience.
- The honour to be in that classroom, to have Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave come in and give us extra teachings, and to be guided by Ipsissima Theresa, Divina Rita and the beautiful Lorena.
It was incredibly powerful to hear their stories, where they’ve come from, and know that regardless of what you think you are, you can do this.
You will do this, and you can be a Teacher if you just let go and get over yourself. |
